Job summary

IMS Care Center in Avondale, AZ is seeking a full-time APP, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Neurology department. You will provide patient services across age groups, perform assessments, orders and interpret tests, and coordinate care across clinics nationwide.

The role requires graduation from an accredited NP/PA program and AZ licensure, with at least one year of Neurology experience.

Qualifications

• Provides patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• One year of Neurology experience required.
• Must have AZ NP/PA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Description

Essential Functions:

• Provide patient services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform patient assessments, diagnosis & treatment plans, perform physical examinations, consultations, patient counseling/education, family planning, and well women exams
• Orders and interprets patient care tests, treatments and exams
• Handles prescription needs, provides advice regarding chronic pain problems, general health education and coordination of care
• Includes travel to our clinics in various locations, as needed

Education and Licensure:

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program and passage of board-approved certifying exam
• Must possess a license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Arizona.

Experience:

• One year of experience in Neurology is required.
