Job summary

Medrisk Llc in the United States is seeking a Platform Configuration Engineer to prepare, configure, maintain, and deploy the StrataWare Bill Review application across QA and pre-production environments.

This role acts as a bridge between Development, Configuration Management, QA and Production Operations to keep environments stable and up to date, with weekend release support and a focus on uptime and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying code in production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, configure, maintain, and deploy StrataWare Bill Review across QA and pre-production environments.
• Maintain StrataWare QA environment with high uptime.
• Deploy regular StrataWare updates per manager's schedule to keep clients up to date.
• Serve as a bridge between Development, Configuration Management, QA, and Production Operations.
• Respond to clients’ highly complex technical product problems.

Job description

The Platform Configuration Engineer is responsible for the preparation, configuration, maintenance, and deployment of the StrataWare Bill Review application across Quality Assurance (QA) and pre-production environments. This role serves as a critical link between Development, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, and Production Operations by ensuring application environments are stable, properly configured, and ready for testing and production releases

• Skills using BladeLogic and Developer tools
• Maintaining the StrataWare QA environment and ensuring the highest possible uptime.
• Deploying regular StrataWare updates in accordance with the schedule determined by the Manager, to ensure all clients receive the most up-to-date version of StrataWare as possible.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
• Periodic weekend work required when asked for release windows
• Prefer a minimum of three years deploying code in a production environment
• Achieving customer satisfaction by providing timely and knowledgeable response to clients’ highly complex technical product problems and concerns.
