Summit Health is seeking a licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in a Per Diem role in New York. The successful candidate will provide patient-centered, collaborative care alongside physicians and staff, with a focus on efficiency and quality outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficiency and patient flow.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work collaboratively with our Urgent Care Department in a Per Diem role

Requirements include:

• Current NY/CT State License
• Board Certification
• 2+ years of related experience preferred
• Solid decision-making, analytical, time-management, and communication skills
• Experience in treating both pediatric and adult populations

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying chief complaints/issues
• Obtaining detailed and accurate patient histories
• Performing physical exams
• Performing procedures including (but not limited to) suturing, splinting and abscess draining
• Interpreting diagnostic and other test results (e.g. EKGs, X-Rays, Lab Work)
• Communicating and educating patients
• Formulating treatment plans and arranging follow-up care as needed
• Working closely with physicians and support staff to ensure efficiency and proper patient flow

Compensation Range: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour

The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, individual performance, quality measures and location of position.
