Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a Software Developer I to join the Asset Performance Management team in Bedford, MA. You will help develop next-generation predictive analytics to optimize asset maintenance and performance, working across the full stack from web apps to databases.

You'll collaborate with engineers, PMs, and QA, participate in code reviews, and contribute to automated testing and Agile/SAFe processes. This is an entry-level role with growth opportunities and exposure to AI-assisted

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
0-2 years of software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or academic projects.
Exposure to C# and .NET technologies.
Experience with REST APIs, web services, and microservices.
Front-end technologies including Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
Familiarity with SQL Server and relational databases.
Experience with source control (Git) and basic CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

Develop next-generation Asset Performance Management solutions.
Contribute to the full technology stack including web apps, APIs, services and databases.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and QA to deliver high-quality software.
Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
Support Agile/Scrum and SAFe processes and CI/CD improvements.
