Job summary

Aspen Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation and AI-Driven Quality Engineer to design, implement, and scale intelligent quality, automation, and performance solutions across enterprise-grade, AI-enabled platforms.

This hands-on role owns test automation, performance engineering, AI-assisted workflows, and SAFe-based delivery pipelines. Collaborate with product engineering, architecture, DevOps, and data/AI teams to embed Built-In Quality at every SDLC stage.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years in software engineering with a focus on automation, quality or performance.
• Experience with AI/ML-assisted testing and LLM-based automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure), microservices, and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of Agile/SAFe delivery models.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and observability stacks.
• Experience with containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale intelligent quality, automation, and performance engineering solutions.
• Embed Built-In Quality into SDLC with product engineering, DevOps, and data/AI teams.
• Design AI-driven quality automation for improved test coverage and defect detection.
• Develop ML/LLM-assisted techniques for test generation and prioritization.
• Create automated quality signals from tests, telemetry, logs, and metrics.
• Drive shift-left/right quality strategies and CI/CD quality gates.
• Architect scalable automation frameworks for API, backend, and system testing.
• Enable automation reporting and dashboards for engineering and leadership.
