Aspen Technology is seeking a Software Developer I to join the Asset Performance Management team in Bedford, MA. You will contribute to next-generation predictive analytics solutions and work with experienced engineers to enhance products and evolve the platform toward scalable, service-oriented architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• 0-2 years of software development experience, including internships or projects.
• Exposure to C# and .NET technologies.
• Understanding of OOP concepts and software design.
• Exposure to Angular/TypeScript/JS/HTML5/CSS3.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of SQL and SQL Server.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to unit/integration testing and SAFe/Agile practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development across the full technology stack, including web apps and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high quality standards.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and tooling improvements.
• Explore new technologies and frameworks through prototypes.
