Tata Consultancy Services in Dallas, TX is seeking an Engineer to administer Google Apigee Edge/Apigee Hybrid and manage API platform deployments across Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Qualifications

Google Apigee Edge/Apigee Hybrid experience.
Apigee platform administration and troubleshooting.
API Proxy and Shared Flow knowledge.
OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/mTLS and API security.
REST APIs and API lifecycle concepts.
Kubernetes/OpenShift administration.
Linux and container technologies.
CI/CD with Jenkins.
Helm and Terraform for deployments.
Monitoring, logging and observability.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Apigee Edge/Apigee Hybrid environments with stability and security.
Perform platform administration, configuration, environment management, and troubleshooting.
Support Apigee Hybrid runtime on Kubernetes/OpenShift with related teams.
Manage API security including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/mTLS and API keys.
Support proxies, shared flows, policies, routing, and deployments.
Monitor platform health and performance using analytics and observability tools.
Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
Support automation via Jenkins/CI-CD, Terraform, Helm and scripting.
Contribute to upgrades, patching, and scalability activities.
Collaborate with teams for API onboarding and issue resolution.
Contribute to Apigee Edge-to-Hybrid migration and modernization.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Google Apigee Edge / Apigee Hybrid environments, ensuring platform stability, availability, security, and operational readiness.
Perform Apigee platform administration, configuration, environment management, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and lifecycle activities.
Support Apigee Hybrid runtime environments running on Kubernetes/OpenShift and work closely with OpenShift, DevOps, network, and security teams.
Manage and troubleshoot API platform security including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, TLS/mTLS, authentication and authorization.
Support API proxies, shared flows, policies, routing, deployments and environment configurations.
Monitor platform health, API traffic and performance using Apigee Analytics and enterprise monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk, ELK or Prometheus.
Participate in incident/problem management, root-cause analysis and production troubleshooting.
Support platform automation through Jenkins/CI-CD, Terraform, Helm and scripting.
Support platform upgrades, patching, configuration changes, resiliency and scalability activities.
Work with application, development, DevOps, OpenShift/Kubernetes, network and security teams for API onboarding and issue resolution.
Contribute to Apigee Edge-to-Hybrid migration and cloud-native platform modernization where applicable.
