Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks an Automation QA Lead to define and advance the test automation strategy for its API Gateway platform. You will design scalable automation frameworks and reusable test suites, integrating testing into CI/CD and Azure DevOps.

You will lead quality engineering practices, mentor engineers, and drive metrics and governance to ensure reliability, security, and performance of enterprise API services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years in software quality assurance or automation engineering.
• 5+ years designing automated test frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems.
• Experience with Postman, Karate, Rest Assured, Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Python, or C# on automation projects.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Own test automation vision and roadmap for API Gateway platform.
• Design scalable automation frameworks for API, integration, and security testing.
• Establish quality standards and governance across the platform.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to embed quality.
• Define metrics, reports, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and test harnesses for enterprise APIs.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead automated validation for configurations, routing, and security controls.
