Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an Automation QA Lead to define and advance the test automation strategy for the API Gateway platform. The role combines hands-on automation engineering with quality leadership to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise API services.

You will design modern automation frameworks, build reusable test suites, and embed quality throughout the SDLC, partnering with engineering and product teams to drive quality metrics and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer-related field.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to design and implement automated test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive test automation strategy for the API Gateway platform.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and test suites across API, integration, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead testing efforts for platform enhancements, upgrades, and new capabilities.
• Mentor engineers on automation development and quality engineering techniques.
