Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications, from frontend interfaces to robust back-end APIs and data layers, in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment.

You will work with Node.js, Python, AWS, and modern DevOps practices, collaborating in an Agile setting, building scalable services and CI/CD pipelines while emphasizing code quality, security, and reliable integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Strong experience with server-side languages and frameworks such as Node.js and Python/FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable back-end services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs (e.g., Node.js, Python) using cloud-native solutions such as AWS.
• Integrate applications with databases (SQL and NoSQL), messaging systems, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Ensure high code quality through peer reviews, unit and integration testing, and adherence to security best practices.
