Job summary

Trasis in Atlanta, USA, seeks an API Manufacturing Lead to launch and coordinate API production activities at the site, coordinating with Belgium R&D, production, supply and quality to ensure a compliant startup.

You will supervise initial production, transfer API synthesis processes, manage planning and material flows, ensure batch records and traceability, and drive cross‑site knowledge transfer while upholding GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Pharmacy or Chemistry required.
• Experience in GMP environments.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques (GC, HPLC).
• Strong ownership and initiative.
• Solution‑oriented with troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Hands‑on, autonomous and pragmatic.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English.
• API synthesis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You contribute to API synthesis process implementation at the US site (transfer, adaptation, small‑scale industrialization).
• You supervise initial production activities in compliance with GMP standards.
• You ensure proper execution of production activities (preparation, synthesis, cleaning, documentation).
• You coordinate on‑site operational activities (planning, priorities, resources).
• You monitor production performance and support troubleshooting of technical issues.
• You manage material flows (raw materials, consumables, shipments).
• You coordinate with group supply teams to ensure smooth operations.
• You ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• You coordinate with Belgian teams for knowledge transfer and alignment.
