Westlake Chemical seeks an API Inspector to serve as the primary fixed-equipment integrity representative for an assigned area. You will plan, perform, document inspections per regulatory and industry standards, and provide recommendations for continued service, repairs, rerating, or removal from service.

You will maintain inspection plans, coordinate NDE resources, and prepare complete reports. The role requires API 510/570 certifications, familiarity with SAP/CMMS, and strong communication

Formación

• API 510/570 certifications are required.
• Experience with SAP or a CMMS and inspection data systems (PCMS, Meridium, PSAIM).
• Five years of skill-related experience preferred or required as stated.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the assigned-area inspection representative and monitor equipment condition and inspection status.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans using design, service conditions, and risk.
• Coordinate external and internal inspections for fixed equipment and pressure-retaining systems.
• Identify damage mechanisms and coordinate qualified NDE personnel.
• Prepare inspection reports with scope, observations, and recommendations.
• Translate findings into SAP notifications, work orders, or corrective-action records.
• Monitor findings through to closure and escalate high-risk conditions.
• Review repair methods and ensure corrective actions address findings.
