Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an API 510/570/653 Inspector to join our Memphis, TN team. You will perform inspections on pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks to certify compliance and approve repairs per API standards.

The role supports manufacturing, petrochemical, power, aerospace, and industrial facilities. Ideal candidates hold API certifications with at least one year of experience, can lift 35 pounds, and are comfortable working outdoors in plant environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold API 510/570 and/or 653 certifications.
• At least one year related experience.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and work in refinery/plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain mechanical integrity.
• Perform visual inspection of completed work and approve repairs.
• Assist in scheduling inspection activities and travel as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and complete required forms and paperwork.
• Deliver inspection reports to clients and maintain documentation.
