Job summary

MISTRAS Group seeks an API 510/570/653 Inspector in Jacksonville, FL to inspect pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks, certifying compliance and recommending repairs per API standards. The role supports various industries including petrochemical, power, aerospace, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include scheduling inspections, delivering client reports, and ensuring safety and quality across outdoor plant environments.

Qualifications

• AP I certification 510/570/653 with at least one year of related experience.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical credits preferred.
• Able to lift 35 pounds and work in refinery/plant environments.
• Capable of climbing, working at heights, and entering confined spaces.
• Clear speech/hearing and good observation for investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections on refinery equipment at intervals.
• Visually inspect completed work and approve repairs when needed.
• Assist scheduling of inspection activities and ensure safety procedures.
• Complete paperwork and reports; travel may be required.
