Job summary

Dave & Buster’s Management Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to collaborate with software engineers, QA, product owners, and architects to translate requirements into API-driven development stories.

You will define API specifications, ensure RESTful design, support data mapping and testing, and drive improvements across API design, integration, and security in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

BA/BS in technical or business discipline or equivalent.
3+ years as a Business Analyst with API development or integration focus.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for API-driven solutions.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for API design, development, and integration.
Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
Work with developers to create API specifications, endpoints, payloads, authentication, and error handling.
Ensure APIs adhere to RESTful principles, scalability, and security standards.
Define and document API workflows, data mapping, and user stories.
Collaborate with QA to define test cases and ensure APIs meet requirements.
