Job summary

Acuren is seeking an API 510/570 Inspector to perform visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment at client sites, in accordance with API standards and ASME. This role emphasizes accuracy, reporting, and safety.

Requirements include API 510/570 certification, 5–10 years of experience or 2+ years on site, ASME knowledge, and willingness to travel. You will provide technical recommendations for repair, replacement, or alteration and support

Qualifications

Certification in API 510/570 is required.
5–10 years of field experience or 2+ years on site.
Knowledge of API 653 or CWI is a plus.
Deep knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API and ASME.
Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment.
Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
Provide guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
Comply with all Acuren and client safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
Willingness to travel as needed.
