Job summary

Acuren is seeking an API 510/570 Inspector to perform visual and non‑destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment at client sites in compliance with API and ASME standards.

You will submit technical reports, offer recommendations for repair or replacement, and contribute to welding/metallurgical discussions while adhering to safety practices. Travel to sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification of API 510/570 is required.
• 5–10 years' field experience or 2+ years on site experience.
• API 653 or CWI is a plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non‑destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement or alteration for safe operation.
• Provide input on welding and metallurgical issues.
• Provide guidance on application of NDE techniques and procedures.
• Comply with all safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel if needed.
