Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification.
• CCA through BONENT or eligible within one year.
• Minimum one year of experience with apheresis or related clinical care.
• Ability to safely operate and monitor apheresis equipment.
• Strong knowledge of patient/donor identification and infection prevention.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with apheresis procedures for blood component collection.
• Prepare patients and donors for procedures including ID verification.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot apheresis equipment.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and report concerns to staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and results.
• Label, handle, store, and transport blood components per regulations.
• Support quality control and regulatory standards.
• Maintain competency and collaborate with healthcare team.
