Qualifications

• Ability to provide general counseling on business development.
• Ability to create professional relationships with government program managers, contracting officers and prime contractors.
• Working knowledge of best business practices on performing government contracts.
• Pragmatic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Ohio procurement rules.
• In-depth knowledge of federal government manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide client counseling on government procurement topics and training.
• Assess client requirements and capabilities for program suitability and registrations.
• Prepare for audits, contracts, and performance issues; refer clients to resources as needed.
• Operate the APEX office and coordinate with the Director and network colleagues.
• Promote the APEX program through presentations and training events and build external partnerships.
