Job summary

Lyon Living in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Porter - Groundskeeper to maintain high-quality standards and support resident services at The George.

You will perform interior and exterior cleaning duties, manage the central trash areas, and maintain tools and equipment across the property. A flexible schedule (weekends/OT) and a valid driver’s license are required, along with background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the property.
• Service central trash areas and/or compactors; keep clean.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure they are in working order.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to prepare apartments for occupancy.
• Clean light fixtures, windows, equipment, laundry rooms, and common areas.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and complete work records.
• Store cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials safely.
• Keep carts and storage areas neat and organized.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.

Pay Range: $21.00-$22.00; on-site housing not offered

We are currently looking to fill a Porter - Groundskeeper position at The George, our property located in Anaheim, CA.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining high quality standards and providing excellent customer service to our residents. This role is responsible for performing cleaning/janitorial duties related to interior and exterior product preparation for the property.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property.
• Ensure the property's central trash removal areas and/or compactors are serviced, emptied and kept clean.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensures they are in working order.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.
• Clean light fixtures, windows, various equipment, laundry rooms, etc. and cleans storage and common areas including, clubhouse, recreation room, office, fitness center, etc.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and accurately completes work records.
• Responsible for safety storing chemicals, cleaning products and hazardous materials.
• Maintain work, supply carts and storage areas in a neat and organized manner.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.

Experience/Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, OT)

This position requires attendance at offsite meetings, visits to other Company operated locations, purchase of goods from offsite vendors and other tasks away from a single assigned location. Applicant must have a valid driver's license or be able to utilize an alternative form of transportation at their own expense which allows them to reach the required destination in a time period comparable to that if they were to drive their own vehicle. Employees choosing to drive their own vehicle for work-related duties will be required to have a valid driver's license and provide proof of insurance, and may be subject to a DMV record search.
