Job summary

Allied Orion Group in Houston, TX seeks an entry-level Maintenance Associate to handle daily pool and grounds upkeep across the community. You will remove trash, maintain pool water balance, monitor equipment, and maintain logs.

This position offers on-the-job training with a High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Certifications for pool operations as required by city/state are needed, and you will coordinate with the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months stable employment in customer service or a related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required.
• Entry level position with on-the-job training available.
• Must have city/state certifications/permits for pool operations.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash from office areas and common areas daily.
• Clean and maintain the pool daily and monitor chemical balance.
• Update pool logs/records and inspect pool area equipment.
• Check pool area gates for proper operation and security.
• Clean carpets in vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Water plants and grass; report irrigation issues to supervisor.
• Power wash as preventative maintenance as needed.
• Assist housekeeping with cleaning offices, grounds, and vacant apartments.
