Job summary

CASE is seeking a maintenance painter to prepare apartments for new residents, handling painting, caulking, grouting, and light repairs. The role includes communicating supply needs to the Property Manager, and assisting with clubhouses, offices, and common areas as required.

Applicants should have at least 6 months in residential settings, strong English communication, and the ability to pass a background check. Full-time on-site work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in apartments and/or residential.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes.
• Must be able to read and write instructions, short correspondence, memos, service requests, and to converse with residents, co-workers, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background investigation including criminal record search, employment verification, and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Paint vacant apartment units, including walls, trim, doors, frames, ceilings and cabinets.
• Caulk around sinks, bathtubs and cabinets in vacant and occupied units as needed.
• Repair/replace floor tile and hang sheetrock; patch holes in walls or ceilings.
• Complete work orders in occupied apartments related to painting, caulking or grouting.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and daily duties as needed, including winter duties.
