Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Olympia, WA is seeking a Service Technician I for a 162-unit apartment community. You will turn vacant units into ready homes, perform basic repairs, and help maintain the property grounds.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate, monthly renewal bonuses, benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more. On-site schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with on-call duties every two weeks.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of maintenance experience on an apartment community, commercial building, or single-family residences.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call every 2 weeks for emergencies.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) a plus!

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.
