Job summary

SI Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance/Make-Ready technician to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready condition in a timely, manager-guided manner. The role supports inspections, basic repairs, painting, and general upkeep to maintain property presentation.

You will work under a Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager, with on-site responsibilities and potential on-call duties. Experience in maintenance is preferred and safety protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in field or related area.
• Proficiency in concepts, practices and procedures of related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures vacated apartments are restored to market-ready status per manager's timetable.
• Inspects apartments, completes make-ready checklists and tests lights, windows, fixtures and appliances.
• Assists with painting, caulking, and minor repairs; transfers paint and materials as scheduled.
• Performs exterior maintenance, grounds upkeep, and safety compliance protocols.
• Escalates issues to supervisor and may answer on-call pages as required.
