Job summary

Hampton Creek Apartments is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general maintenance tasks. You will prepare vacant units for new residents and maintain community grounds and facilities.

The role requires on‑call availability and reliable transportation. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, prior maintenance or handyman experience, and knowledge of building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC experience preferred; EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (turns), including painting.
• Perform general maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Maintain community grounds, buildings, and amenities.
• Respond to emergency and after‑hours maintenance calls.
• Track and manage maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Follow all safety policies and industry regulations.
