Job summary

Tarantino Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle residential service requests, perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and prepare vacant units for turn-over. The role emphasizes responsive maintenance and strong resident service in a multi-family setting.

The position calls for 1–3 years of maintenance experience, including apartment turns, painting, and drywall work, with a focus on customer satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with apartment turns and make-readies.
• Basic plumbing repair skills (toilets, faucets, disposals, drain clogs).
• Basic electrical repair skills (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCIs).
• Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves).
• Skilled in drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
• Paint and pick up grounds
• Painting
• Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repair
• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
