Job summary

Riverside Apartments in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time General Maintenance technician to handle interior and exterior repairs and remodeling of vacated apartments. You will support the Director of Maintenance with day-to-day tasks and emergencies.

Responsibilities include painting, housekeeping-related upkeep, restoring units to near-new condition, and ensuring safe, neat buildings and grounds. Workweek is Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with on-call emergencies every third week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in building repairs and maintenance is essential.
• Minimum three years' extensive maintenance experience, including painting.
• Detail-oriented with ability to remodel vacated apartments.
• Ability to work with the maintenance team and director; on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete housekeeping, repairs, and special work orders.
• Redevelop vacated apartments to near-new condition for re-rental.
• Identify hazards and report maintenance issues to management promptly.
• Assist with work orders and maintenance of buildings and grounds; support housekeeper as needed.
