Job summary

Riverside Apartments is seeking a full-time General Maintenance worker in Jacksonville, FL. This role handles interior and exterior building repairs, and remodeling vacated apartments to restore them to a like-new condition for re-rental.

The position follows a M-F 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule with on-call emergencies every third week. Candidates should have a high school diploma and several years of maintenance experience. EOE/DFWP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of maintenance and building repairs experience.
• Experience with painting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete housekeeping duties, repairs, and special work orders.
• Redevelop vacated apartments to a like-new condition for quick re-rental.
• Identify hazards and report problems to management promptly.
• Assist the Director with work orders, building and grounds maintenance.
• Assist housekeeper/janitor to maintain a clean, neat facility.

Riverside Apartments is seeking to fill a full-time General Maintenance position at its location in beautiful Riverside area in Jacksonville, FL. This position is responsible for exterior and interior physical conditions of building and facility grounds. This position will be responsible for remodeling vacated apartments and also assist the Director of Maintenance with other day-to-day maintenance and repairs. The schedule for this position is M-F 8am-4:30pm and on call fro emergencies every third week.

Essential Job Functions:

• Completionofhousekeeping duties, repairs, and special work orders.
• Principally responsible for the redecoration of vacated apartments and restore them to a as much "like-new" appearance and condition as quickly as possible for re-rental.
• To be on the alert for hazards and potential maintenance problemsand report them immediately to management if it is not immediately correctable.
• To assist Directorwith completion of work ordersandwith the maintenance of buildings and groundsin a very clean and neat appearance and top functioning condition.
• To assist the housekeeper/janitor whenever necessary to maintain the facility in the best appearance possible.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma and minimum three years extensive experience with building repairs and maintenance including painting.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training.
