Silverado Apartments in Albuquerque, NM seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. You will handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, perform preventative maintenance, and prep vacants with make-ready turnover.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions. On-call rotation and safety compliance are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall and painting issues
• Performing preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment and common areas
• Prepare vacant apartments (make-ready and turn processes) and conduct routine site inspections
• Assist with on-call rotation and emergency maintenance situations
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections and inventory
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors and team members
