Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Pavilions Apartments in Albuquerque. The role involves performing repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to uphold property upkeep and resident comfort.

Candidates must communicate in English, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and be available for after-hours emergencies with the Service Manager. EPA Type II or Universal is a plus, valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs that may include plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
• Provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager.
• Follow Company standards and safety procedures.
