Job summary

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled FULL TIME ENTRY LEVEL Porter/Maintenance Technician for Foxfield, a 112-unit affordable community in Salisbury, Maryland. The role involves grounds keeping, cleaning, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks on a team-based schedule.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of apartment maintenance or related experience; basic appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, or painting experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in apartment maintenance or similar industry.
• Basic appliance troubleshooting, carpentry, plumbing, or painting is a plus.
• Must work well both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Grounds keeping of the community and cleaning of common areas.
• Assist with basic apartment maintenance tickets and turnovers.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Coordinate with contractors and report to Community Manager.
