Job summary

BMOC, Inc. in Whitewater, WI is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain high-quality apartment communities. This role is ideal for reliable, motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work and seeing projects through from start to finish.

You'll perform painting, repairs, routine maintenance, snow removal as needed, and support on-call responsibilities. Must provide basic hand tools; HVAC/EPA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Basic maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or apartment maintenance.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• HVAC/EPA certification or maintenance-related training is a plus, but not required.
• Must provide your own basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents (painting, patching, cleaning, flooring repairs).
• Complete maintenance work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, HVAC, doors, locks, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep the property in excellent condition.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with support from our after-hours call center.
• Occasionally assist at nearby properties when needed.
