Job summary

AION Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Alden in Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include general maintenance, groundskeeping, and housekeeping to maintain curb appeal and quality of apartments, plus prompt response to service requests.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, and English proficiency. On-call duties and weekend work are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CFC Type I & II preferred, 180 days from hire to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to walk grounds and apartments, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned.
• Assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials.
• Refurbish and renovate apartments per company standards.
• Walk property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Notify Business Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Assist in snow removal as required.
• Maintain accurate record of all tasks completed.
