Job summary

IEC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for its Mountian View, CA apartment community. The role requires experience in apartment maintenance, strong communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8am-5pm, with on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Janitorial, familiar with OSHA guidelines.
• Facilities maintenance experience.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience at an apartment community.
• Customer service oriented.
• Availability to work Tuesday - Saturday.
• Available for after-hours emergencies, overtime, and regional support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, leasing office, all common areas, fitness center, and amenities.
• Walk the grounds to pick up litter and pet waste.
• Sweep dumpster areas.
• Assist maintenance and office staff with posting property communications to tenants and events.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
• Identify safety hazards and propose elimination methods.
• Provide customer service with residents and team members with respect.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as needed.
