Job summary

Steelhead Management in Richmond, VA is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative tasks at The Westbrook at Brewer's Row. You will work under the Service Manager to keep interiors and exteriors in top condition.

Responsibilities include responding to on-call emergencies, following up on tickets, inspecting grounds and buildings daily, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in apartment maintenance including basic electrical & plumbing diagnostics/repair.
• Must have painting and drywall repair experience.
• Be a team player in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
• Have the flexibility to respond to off-hour emergencies and resident concerns.
• HVAC certification preferred (CFC Universal).

Responsibilities

• Work with the Service Manager to ensure maintenance tasks are performed properly and promptly.
• Respond to on-call emergencies in a timely manner and follow up on open tickets.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to maintain curb appeal and safety.
• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and turnover tasks as needed.
• Utilize general maintenance tools and adhere to safety standards.
