Job summary

Equity Property Management, LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a new apartment community near Greenfield, IN, currently under construction. Phase 1 is complete with 204 units; Phase 2 is underway.

You will perform maintenance, electrical and plumbing tasks, and coordinate with supervisors and residents. Two years of maintenance experience and a valid driver's license are required; HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance and repair experience on buildings and grounds, including electrical and plumbing.
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance required.
• HVAC certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Secure completed buildings daily prior to tenant move-in.
• Troubleshoot systems and equipment that are not working properly.
• Install light fixtures, hang pictures, assemble furniture, and install doors and hardware.
• Perform routine maintenance on apartment buildings and grounds.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, co-workers, residents and others.
• Be willing to work overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
