Job summary

Equity Property Management, LLC is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Mishawaka, IN. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor, handling general maintenance with a focus on electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting and HVAC.

Qualified candidates have at least two years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and are motivated self-starters who can work overtime and emergencies. HVAC certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
• HVAC Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical circuits, switches, outlets and lighting fixtures.
• Repair, install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as water heaters and toilets.
• Perform routine maintenance of apartment buildings and grounds.
• Repair building exteriors, doors, windows, etc.
• Install drywall, trim, counters and appliances for turnover units.
• Be available for overtime, on-call shifts and emergencies.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, residents and staff.
