Job summary

Greystar Sundance Apartments in Vallejo, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and drywall. The role includes making-ready units for leasing, tracking inventory, and ensuring safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, valid driver's license for on-site vehicle use, and state/local certifications as required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal.
• State and local certifications as required for the role.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and punch lists.
• Obtains materials and tools, tracks inventory, and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Documents work and updates service requests for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
