Job summary

GPI Investment is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our residential properties safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will perform routine repairs across apartments and common areas, respond to work orders, and perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.

The role requires basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach. On-call shifts and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining apartments, hotels, or similar environments.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
On-call availability and reliable transportation.
EPA Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units, common areas, and building systems.
Handle work orders promptly, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize issues and extend equipment life.
Assist with unit turns, including painting, repairs, and cleaning to prepare for new residents.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and property policies.
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in an organized manner.
Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
