Job summary

CAPREIT invites you to join Rochester Highlands as a Maintenance Technician. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, A/C, plumbing, electrical, and other systems across the community in a timely manner.

We offer competitive pay of $22–$24 per hour, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and a quarterly bonus/commission structure. Monday–Friday on-call schedule with on-site work.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Own basic tools and computer literacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace heating and A/C units, water heaters, appliances, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours and notify manager if not completeable.
• Assist with grounds, housekeeping, painting, and exterior repairs as needed.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and perform preventative maintenance.
• Interact with residents, vendors, and staff professionally.
