Sunrise Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to service Canfield Apartments in Gansevoort, NY. The role requires at least two years of related experience, including repairs from work orders, turnovers, and painting.

On-call availability and customer service focus are essential. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing issues, maintaining interiors and exteriors, logs and reports, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have basic plumbing, electrical, painting/patching, and carpentry skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas.
• Knowledge of using tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Must be able to work on-call and overtime hours.
• Ability to maintain professionalism with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Responds to work orders by assessing issues and making repairs.
• Patches, paints, and cleans apartment interiors to standards.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including snow removal.
• Completes logs, work orders, Entrata records, and other documents.
• Communicates with residents professionally and with urgency.
