Job summary

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an affordable housing community in Los Angeles, CA. The role covers day-to-day maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general upkeep of the property.

The candidate will perform routine inspections, maintain tools and supplies, and ensure safety and quality in service to residents and vendors. Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
Experience in, but not limited to, electrical, drywall, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
Possession of a valid California driver's license
Proof of auto insurance
Reliable transportation
Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
Excellence customer service skills when speaking with residents and vendors
Computer skills for viewing and completing work orders
Preferred certifications, such as HVAC

Responsibilities

Paint surfaces and clean facilities.
Service appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures.
Repair or replace old and faulty parts.
Check locks and ensure security.
Replace burned-out light bulbs.
Conduct regular inspections of grounds, building, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances and major equipment.
Familiarize with power, water, and gas shutoffs; post maps.
Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment and supplies.
Perform janitorial duties as needed.
Report repairs to site manager and assist with other maintenance tasks.
