Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of upkeep tasks across our communities. You will handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and improvements to keep vacancies market-ready and communities at high standards.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional on-call rotation for weekends and after-hours support as needed. A $21.00 hourly rate plus benefits supports a stable, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 year of maintenance experience required
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Preferred: plumbing, electrical, carpeting, painting experience
• EPA certifiable status preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in preparing all vacancies to a market-ready condition
• Performs various community maintenance tasks and records findings in the maintenance log
• Responds to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner
• Performs emergency service as required
• Assists Maintenance Supervisor or Property/Resort Manager on special maintenance projects
• Maintains grounds and common areas free of trash and debris
