Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for Waters at Sunrise Apartments in Round Rock, TX. The role focuses on overseeing maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping while supporting make-ready activities for a multi-family community.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations, and coordinating with the Community Manager on upkeep and safety across all property systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of multi-family maintenance or 2+ years of commercial maintenance experience.
• EPA Sec 608 Certification - Type I + Type II or Type Universal required.
• Proficiency in plumbing, tile work, HVAC, appliances, carpentry repairs, electrical repairs, and make-ready processes.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods, move around the community, and climb ladders for repairs.
• Willingness to be on-call.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical property and general maintenance repairs.
• Manage grounds keeping and on-site amenities upkeep.
• Respond to on-call/after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with the make-ready process in line with property objectives.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local laws including Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
