Job summary

MAA Hebron is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair across our community. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and door hardware to ensure apartments are ready for residents.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs heating, ventilation and air conditioning units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Covers plumbing, carpentry, and locks as needed.
• Follows a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follows up with residents after repairs.
