Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property team in a full-time role. The position offers competitive pay of $21-$23 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, 401K, and bonuses.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, diagnosing and repairing issues in units and common areas, and performing preventive maintenance. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• EPA certification and/or HVAC certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose and repair issues in units and common areas (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances).
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Assist in apartment make-readies including cleaning, repairs, and painting.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of property, grounds, amenities, and maintenance areas.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools; notify supervisor of needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with snow removal, pool maintenance, and seasonal tasks as needed.

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties that contribute to the overall upkeep and condition of the apartment community. This includes completing service requests, preparing apartments for new , and ensuring community systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) are in proper working order.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnoses and repair issues in apartment units and common areas, including:
• • Plumbing (leaks, clogs, faucet/toilet repairs)
  • Electrical (switches, outlets, light fixtures)
  • HVAC systems (filters, minor repairs, seasonal maintenance)
  • Appliances (dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves)
  • Carpentry (door locks, drywall patching, painting)
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Assist in apartment “make-readies” including cleaning, repairs, and painting.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the property, including grounds, amenities, and maintenance areas.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Must be available for emergency on-call rotation, weekends, and holidays as needed.
