Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support our Greenville, SC community with routine repairs, make-readies, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include coordinating with management, preparing vacants for move-in, and handling resident service requests with a focus on safety and quality.

Flexible schedule including some on-call shifts. The role requires basic trade skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-family environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or trade school preferred.
• Minimum 3 years general maintenance experience; multi-family or related experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to provide service calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities for apartment community in coordination with management.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and coordinate make-ready tasks.
• Respond to resident service requests and emergencies; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain inventory for repairs and supplies.
