Job summary

SYNC Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Dallas to join our service team. You will handle HVAC, appliance, plumbing, and electrical repairs, complete make-readies, and communicate repair options and schedules to residents.

The role includes on‑call rotation and requires EPA certification and a valid driver’s license. You will also perform interior paint touch‑ups, basic carpentry, and other make‑ready tasks, ensuring repairs are done right the first time and units are

Qualifications

• EPA certification required
• Minimum of three years apartment maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Participation in on‑call rotation required
• Standard shift: Mon–Fri with on‑call coverage evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform make-readies and interior paint touch-ups as part of unit turnover
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems (EPA certified)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical fixtures
• Provide minor carpentry, patch work, and sheetrock repairs
• Monitor inventory and assist with replacement orders
• Communicate repair options and schedules clearly to residents
• Share on‑call duties with supervisor and stay responsive
