Job summary

TLC Management Co. in Naperville, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our apartment community. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep the property safe, functional, and welcoming for residents.

This is a full-time on-site role with compensation hourly at $23–$28 plus quarterly bonus potential, and a schedule Monday through Friday with some Saturdays for emergencies. Benefits include health, retirement, and ample paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and building systems to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Assist with turnover preparation and make-ready work for new residents.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and community policies.
• Snow removal.
