Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our on-site team at Laurel Woods Apartments in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on maintaining the community, handling work orders, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and appliances to ensure a positive resident experience.

Qualifications include prior multi-family maintenance experience, EPA licenses or certification within 120 days, HVAC experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• EPA certification is required (or must be obtained within 120 days of start date via company-paid training).
• Preferred experience in multi-family property maintenance and knowledge of safety guidelines.
• HVAC experience strongly preferred and pool maintenance skills beneficial.
• Ability to follow OSHA regulations and maintain professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment community and day-to-day operations.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders per quality standards.
• Perform plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, shut-offs, sink replacements, faucet installations, and disposal repairs.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, furnace, hot water heater, and boiler issues.
• Repair appliances and provide carpentry work (doors, drywall, trim, caulking).
• Handle electrical repairs (switches, outlets, fixtures) and tile/tub repairs.
• Monitor inventory of commonly used parts and stock levels.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
